Local Attractions in Pemberton
At the heart of Pemberton and indeed in the dress circle of the region lies the vineyards and winery of Lost Lake. Established in 1990 the vineyard is comprised of pinot noir, chardonnay, shiraz, sauvignon blanc, merlot and cabernet. These varieties are proving to be excellent examples of these styles within the region. All their wines are made at their own facility located on the property by their resident winemaking team. –
Birdwatching tours designed and conducted, primarily in the South West region of Western Australia but also in other parts of Australia by request. These range from half-day tempters right through to fully accommodated 16 day expeditions as well as personalised tours looking for particular species or to specific locations
The Gloucester Tree is a giant Karri tree in the Gloucester National Park of Western Australia. At 72 metres in height, it is the world’s second tallest fire-lookout tree (second only to the nearby Dave Evans Bicentennial Tree), and visitors can climb up to a platform in its upper branches for a spectacular view of the surrounding Karri forest. This one is not for the faint hearted.
